Brings experience in strategic organization development and streamlining delivery systems
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA.—Ieann Vasquez brings change management and strategic team development expertise to the newly created position of Patient Access Director at Valley Community Healthcare. His appointment comes at a time when VCH prepares to adopt the Department of Health & Human Services broader delivery system and payment reform platform across the Medi-Cal program utilized by the majority of VCH’s enrolled patients. In this capacity, Vasquez will be responsible for overseeing specific operations departments and implementing innovative procedures to ensure VCH patients have access to continuous high quality healthcare.
Prior to joining Valley Community Healthcare, Vasquez served as an Organizational Change and Strategy Transformation consultant for the Veterans Administration, introducing systemic organizational changes to achieve efficient business processes and policies. He served as the Associate Clinic Director for Family Health Centers of San Diego where his outreach strategy to make daily rounds, developed a foundation of understanding, transparency and openness among his team and the populations served. His cultural intelligence, empathy and experience as an Emergency Medical Technician are skills he brings to leading staff in patient engagement, retention and growth when dealing with people in medical distress.
