Valley Community Healthcare recently hosted its Mommy & New Family Baby Shower, a special celebration for VCH patients in their third trimester who are preparing to welcome a new baby into their family. The event brought together expectant mothers, VCH healthcare providers, community organizations, and families for a morning focused on education, connection, and support.
Throughout the event, VCH’s OB/GYN and pediatric clinicians shared important information about pregnancy, newborn care, and the importance of regular checkups and follow-up care for both mothers and babies. Our Patient Member Services team was also available to connect families with valuable healthcare and community resources. Prenatal patients enjoyed light refreshments and received welcome gifts to help them prepare for their growing families.
The event also highlighted the importance of having a strong support system during pregnancy and beyond. VCH’s prenatal clinicians and specialized Care Team work closely with patients throughout pregnancy to provide maternity care, guidance, and support. By working together across specialties, VCH providers help ensure that mothers and babies receive the recommended medical services they need to stay safe, healthy, and thrive.
