The Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) returns patients to health through preventive care and healthy lifestyle counseling.
North Hollywood – For 50 years Valley Community Healthcare has provided clinical services and patient-focused health programs to low-income, medically underserved residents of the San Fernando Valley. That translates to two million care hours provided to 500,000 patients by culturally sensitive doctors and healthcare specialists through two Centers in North Hollywood and North Hills.
Since the 1980s, VCH has been a major HIV/AIDS resource and service center, providing confidential testing, counseling, and treatment referrals to affected patients. Our specialists develop comprehensive treatment plans for those who are HIV-positive or have been diagnosed with Hepatitis C or STDs. VCH’s unique Teen Pregnancy Prevention Project made our Valley Teen Clinic a nationally recognized leader in adolescent services. The program is designed by teens for teens, and under the management of an Adolescent Medicine specialist, specially trained Peer Providers offer reproductive health and infectious disease counseling.
Valley Community Healthcare is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit medical facility recognized as a community leader, active in the effort to reduce visits to emergency rooms and urgent care facilities by providing effective diagnosis, treatment and counseling. The agency is supported by grants from Los Angeles County, the State of California, and the Federal Government, as well as private/public/corporate foundations.
