VCH has welcomed exciting changes on the first floor of our facility as the new Pediatric Clinic – C.A.M.P. – Child/Adolescent Medicine Program has taken up residence alongside our long-standing Adolescent Medicine/Teen Clinic.
This move was established to ensure continuity of medical care and convenience for families, focusing on the specific needs of low income babies, children and teens. On June 14th, VCH held an event to show-off this new space and honor our C.A.M.P. donors.
Dr. Luna, VCH Chief Medical Officer, gave an engaging presentation with a comprehensive overview of how the C.A.M.P. clinic now operates. It’s exciting to see the integrated program successfully up and running, making an impact on the health of over 5,400 children and teen patients at VCH.
VCH Gives Thanks…
The furnishing of the clinic could not have been made possible without the charitable contributions from some of our major donors. Joan & Alexandra Isaacs and the Taub Family were honored for their generosity. The Mel Kohn Reading Tree was a special dedication made by the Taub Family, which now exists in the C.A.M.P. Reading Corner. This special nook is maintained daily by our wonderful Pediatric staff and kept supplied by our dedicated Women4Women & Children Advocacy Group volunteers: Judith Hirshberg, Jodie Reff, Jan Goldsmith, Sarita Cohen & Anne Collum. We are so grateful for our donor and volunteers!
