Outreach Services

Through Community Outreach programs, Valley Community Healthcare connects with approximately 55,000 people annually. Programs include Teen Health Education, Nutrition Counseling, HIV/AIDS Services, Behavioral Health Support Groups, Tobacco Control & Prevention Presentations, and the Multiple Morbidity Mobile Testing Unit.  


Valley Teen Clinic Health Educators

Visit and work with most public high schools in the San Fernando Valley to keep teens informed about reproductive anatomy/physiology, birth control methods, sexually transmitted illnesses, and HIV/AIDS. 

Multiple Morbidity Mobile Testing Unit

Provides HIV, STD and Hepatitis A,B, and C testing, screening and counseling services to homeless and at-risk populations through contracts with the County of Los Angeles, Office of AIDS Programs and Policy. 

Drug & Alcohol Education

Valley Community Healthcare offers both a drug and alcohol education program and PC1000 or Deferred Entry of Judgment Program. Both programs are designed to meet the requirements of the Criminal Justice system and other referral sources (employer, DCFS, etc.)

PC1000 Program

Our PC1000 Program is certified by both Los Angeles County and the State of California. It is a twenty week program, meeting for two and a half hours each week. Attendance at twenty 12-step meetings is also part of the program.
Currently, we have the following ongoing group:

  • Tuesdays from 7-9:30pm

Intakes are conducted daily during business hours unless other arrangements are made. 

Initial enrollment fee:
$45 ($12.40 County Registration Fee and $32.60 for admission processing).
